Featured Nursery: Arden's Sophisticated Space

7.20.2011
I've been following Reichel over on Copy Cat Chic for some time now, and frequently refer to her fabulous and thrifty blog for my idea boards. She recently completed her daughter Arden's nursery and I am so excited to share it with you!

It's not your typical baby's room for sure. It's a sophisticated space that will grow well with baby Arden, but has a lot of sweet whimsical touches perfect for a little girl.

The peacock crib bedding is custom and the vintage tapestry was a flea market find. The garland is vintage as well, and is just decorative until little Arden starts to really use her crib. Reichel made the beautiful felt mobile herself and it suits the nursery perfectly:

I love that although the color palette is subdued, there are pops of vibrant turquoise throughout the space, and even a hot pink here and there!

The amazing antique dresser was a Craiglist find, and the beautiful unicorn poster was Reichel's as a little girl. She got it for her 10th birthday - isn't that sweet?

Aren't all of those little shoes just to die for?! I can't wait to see them on baby Arden's little feet.

Reichel scored this beautiful and comfortable glider at a local thrift store for twenty-five dollars! She had it professionally steam-cleaned to ensure it was safe for her nursery and home (you can't be too careful with upholstered furniture!)

The sparkly name is so much fun - Reichel created this herself with a few craft supplies and a little hard work. And every little one must have a Sophie of course:

And here is sweet Arden enjoying her amazing space. What a lucky little girl!

Thank you to Reichel for sharing Arden's nursery - the space is just perfect and I'm sure Arden will enjoy it for many years to come!
